I'm off to the post office.

I have Anna's box here, all taped up and ready to go.

That's all taped shut for the second time, I was just about to apply the address label when I realised I had not put in a card or a note! Doh! I'm sure she would know who it was from, but I think it's only right. In 20 minutes I'll be out the door and on my way to the post office.

There has been very little movement on my quilt, I want to quilt as I go, so the center 9 fans, the ones from Karen have been layered and pinned, and I'm busy playing about with a variation on a Baptist fan. DD joined me last night and I changed my mind every 5 minutes, but I think I'm now settled on something.
DD was having problems visualising my description of my plans for this quilt so we set about with pencil and paper and here you see the result. There is no guarantee that this is how it will stay of course, as you know the creative muse is fickle.

What appears to be a little nine patch in the middle there is a meter square. Hmm! Last night I ordered more batting and more white on white, 2.5 meters, enough to do the next round, butterflies in corner stones and three or four petaled flowers in a straight border. I need to get on and get these big triangles finished and sashed, hopefully I'll have P&Q to do that later today, maybe even a little quilting.

Gratitude's

1) The chance to give.

2) Beautiful fabrics to play with.

3) Flowers from Hunney.

Glad I'm not the only one that does silly things like that. Done it twice recently. Hope you get your P&Q

I think your fan quilt will be something pretty special once it's done if your diagram is anything to go by :o)
