Lest We Forget

I'm a little late this year, I'm sorry. This is the official Sunday upon which rememberance services will be held to mark the anniversary of the 11th hour, of the 11th day of the 11th month and the end of the 'Great war.' Once again I will go with one of my service users and stand proudly beside him at our towns war memorial.

It is a special day to remember the men and women who have gone before us- helping us to live in places where the land is peaceful.
Terrie of Bits and Pieces blog printed a beautiful piece written by Dr. John McCrae called In Flander's Fields. It is read every year over our school intercom or at Remembrance Day assemblies.
Hope all is well with you and yours,
Regards,
Anna
