LOL Lou! Yes, to me it looks like a pie server! Sorry I can't help you there...it could be anything. Maybe it is unrelated to fabric...but it would be nice to find out! Maybe she can go to the site she purchased the fabric from, somewhere there may be some info on it.
I would say it's a pie server as well. The serrated edge is to cut the crust, but I have no idea why it would come with fabric! LOL
I have no idea but will be interested in knowing the answer.
heeheehee...i concur with the rest of the women...a pie server :)
My answer also would be a pie server. To serve the pie to have with tea/coffee at patchwork and quilting get togethers perhaps.
If it looks like a pie server, and works like a pie server....then it must be a pie server, or at least can be used that way. Was the shop having some kind of sale of "kitchen" theme fabrics?I had not read your post the one before this one. Looks like you and your sis had fun and you sure did get some nice things done.
Echoing the others with "pie server" although, really it looks like a cake server. Are you sure it's supposed to be a fabric related tool? Could it be for handling delicate fabrics? A template maybe? Something for smoothing out batting? I have no idea.I vote for cake server! Cake for everyone!
Okay, okay...it's driving me nuts! I took a good long look at it.....somehow, I do think it has something to do with sewing. The serrated edge, seems like maybe a template for hand basting, maybe in sleeves?Maybe it's a tool to aide in hand quilting, maybe to keep the stitches even....oh I don't know (is it obvious?)
