Moving along slowly

And these are only part of the reason! When life gives you strawberries, make jam.
The quilt has progressed a little. I shuffled things around some more then left it to 'soak' for a day.
Once I decided I was happy with it I began putting pieces together slowly.
Life the universe and everything is still kind of getting in the way of my downtime at the moment. I find when I do have a little time I prefer to sit on the sofa with my crochet. So that is also making slow progress.

Yum, strawberry jam. I've just made some kiwifruit jam, have you ever tied this? Next up will be some lemon honey, I'll tackle that early next week after we return home from our weekend caravan rally . I just love making jam, it's such a homely thing to do.

Ah! Life the universe and everything has been getting in my way here too. Hope your jam was delish and that you get more of what you like done!

The quilt so far is looking fab! It's always interesting how good blocks look when they're sewn together.

Those strawberries look yummy!! ...love the colours in your quilt.....I find it hard to do "random" ...always end up trying to get everything to match. Have been following your crochet rug progress......very impressive!
