And Matching Pillow Cases.

My second post for Sunday, but I just had to show off!

It took me all of 45 mins to cut the blue and put together these two pillow cases, made to match the quilt in my previous post.

I did a little cross stitch while watching the Formula 1. More watching than stitching to be honest, what a great race, well done Louis Hamilton, and way to go Rubens Barrichello, it's been a while, but worth the wait.

Lots of great finishes in my world today. :-)

they make a great set.

What a glorious afternoon, I watched the grand prix first and then the tennis. Good for knitting!

I love your new pillow cases and quilt. I had to chuckle when I read the name "with a large vodka" that's so funny.
Thanks for stopping by to visit me.

Hey, such a great idea making the pillowcases to match. Hope I do as well with those pieces my husband picked out. Thanks for stopping by.
I'm thinking of maybe keeping the job real, real small - like postcards.
BTW I had to add those silly letter things to my comments also, for the same reason.

What a clever idea to make pillow cases to match! I haven't made any pillowcases for ages, and they're really quite straightforward, once you get the inside-out bit.

Your bed looks lovely - with matching everything.

I have never put a skirt around a quilt like that; it certainly makes it hang down nicely.

( maybe now some scatter cushions to sit around the pillows )
