Yep! Here we are on the third day of the month and my April Chookshed Challenge is complete. I know, I know, I was swapping it out for number 5 which is going to Scrub Stitchin' with me, but yesterday I got all caught up in it and POOF! Now I have a finished quilt top. LOL
I don't think I'll add borders, I auditioned quite a few bits and pieces, but nothing felt right. I did find the perfect backing for it though.
Quilting and backing were not included in the challenge and they will have to wait anyway.
April Chookshed challenge complete.
Thanks for getting us organised Deanna.

In other news, I've also been making progress on the latest EPP squirrel. The pile of hexie flowers is growing.
Tony has almost completed his last day of work for a while and tomorrow we pack our cases and head for the big city.
Two more sleeps until we get onto the big airplane.
I might go sew some more hexies.
I'll be back in a couple of weeks with lots of news.

Aren’t you the clever one , finishing your April Chookshed Challenge already…. Well done.
Enjoy playing with the hexies …..
Have a wonderful safe trip and I’m sure you’ll have the best time at SS.
You are getting me all excited for you.
Well done with your challenge top
How lovely to have it all done and the backing is just perfect. Happy travels. xx
Well done on getting the challenge quilt done. Now you should be a bit ahead when #5 comes up. Only 2 more sleeps.
Some quilts don't ask for a border. Congratulations on being ahead, prepped for Scrub Stitchin', and having a finished top so early this month. You will have a great APRIL!
safe journey!!!
When your quilt is bound, the binding will be a narrow border - which is all the quilt needs!
More lovely projects. Love tge EPP as always. Have a great trip. I have no idea where as I have missed a lot in blogland.
