Scrub Stitchin' part one.

You would need drinks and snacks if I shared ALL of the photos I took, so here is a tase.
Our mugs this year show beautiful Aussie critters.
I got a Roo and her Joey.
Our project this year was a bit of a mystery,

until the surprise guest explained...
We are to make a Kawandi quilt.
There had been rain, so the camp was looking green.
There were also mosquitoes!
But we still managed some outdoor photos.
I worked mostly on my down in the garden stitchery.
And was able to complete the stitching on one block, here it is next to Jenny's Sunshine and Lollipops block.
Dress up night was Winter Wonderland. There were some amazing costumes.
This pair were perfect.
And of course there was the gift swap.
I scored this amazing woven fabric bowl.
Along with some soap, a lens cloth and chocolates. Thank you Linda.
Raewyn received my gifts.
I had used French General fabrics to make a big tote bag, a zippy pouch and needle keeper.
There is more to come.

A lovely succinct summary of SS. There are always so many different enjoyable elements to Scrub Stitching - it seems very 'lacking' to just call it a quilting retreat - it's such a cup-runneth-over week, isn't it?
