Or is it? Although this is now a finished quilt with the binding on and closed I feel that it does need something more. I'm just not sure what. More daisies?
The back is pretty boring, with not much to show, except those three flowers and a tiny bit of straight line stitching. It's a little on the billowy side too and I'm afraid to do too much in case I end up making it look awful with a bunch of creases and rumples. What do you think?

How about a few quilted flowers with a contrasting bright thread in the borders - maybe some big stitch quilting with embroidery thread. Feel better soon x
It's very pretty, but I too think it needs a little more. I immediately thought that adding a few more of your daisies in the border might look good.
So kind of your Mum to name her dog after me!! She's a beautiful girl!
maybe a few bright and bold flowers or something shummery? Loving the new "baby" xx
Looks good to me! Maybe after a bath it will soften up and look more cozy. I like the big daisies.
Cute puppy!
MUM!?!?!?!!! ask nana if i can steal Ailsa????? LOL she lublys (lovly) the blanket is cool as it is mum... LOVE the dasiys backs of blankets are for hiding under, not for show.... and anything you end up doing will look fantastic. im sure.... both my blankets and all cusion covers (that you havn't pinched) are happily comfey and warm always:D
Your stitching is fine, Loulee. You can always do more if you feel the quilt is too billowy.
I agree with a couple of the other girls that maybe a couple of more flowers overlapping the border might just tie it all together. It really is a lovely quilt, nice and fresh. Ailsa is just gorgeous.
I think it's a totally cheerful quilt. Oh my goodness Ailsa is a darling.
